La médiation environnementale des façades architecturales « Le confort thermique dans le SPA Alliance Assurance »

Abstract

In Algeria, the building sector is among the most energy-intensive sectors; hence, the reduction of its energy consumption is at the heart of the architects' concerns. Although Act 99 on the control of energy consumption exists, professionals still find it difficult to implement it. It is in this perspective that our research work in master is integrated. It is intended as a contribution to broadening the reflection of the quality of thermal comfort in the tertiary building. This research adopts as a basic strategy the application and the integration of the Algerian thermal regulation in the process of evaluation and architectural design. It should be noted that this regulation focuses on the architectural envelope. To carry out our research, we carried out a bibliographical study on the concept of thermal comfort as well as the impact of the envelope of the tertiary building on indoor thermal comfort. Subsequently, we have established a comparative theoretical reading between the global and national thermal regulatory context. To achieve our objectives, we have taken as a case study to explore, the “head office” SPA Alliance Assurance, in progress. To do so, we used the Algerian thermal simulation software RETA. The results of the simulation show that the building is coming closer to being in compliance with the thermal regulations during the summer period; while it needs insulation on certain walls of its envelope ((The opaque walls "low floor and walls").
