Abstract

The rehabilitation in Algeria takes a great echo nowadays, given the vulnerable state of our built heritage, the degradation of these residences is the consequence of the strong seismicity of the city of Algiers which sounds the alarm of the danger in view of the loss of several buildings in recent months and years. Through this thesis, we are going to open the parenthesis on a topical theme which studies a real case in the heart of one of the oldest districts of the city of Algiers center at rue Abbane Ramdane, the building to be studied is in progress. rehabilitation work in the context of identifying the operation to be carried out on site while based on the data collected using a method called Réhabi Med which describes a whole process of carrying out a study for a rehabilitation operation of a building in the old fabric. The development of this thesis is essentially based on a numerical simulation using an engineering software called Robot Structural Analysis in the vision of seeing the behavior of the mechanism of the building structure in the face of seismic forces prevented in the area of 'Algiers and to see the vulnerable state of the resistance of the structure in the presence of the seismic hazard with evaluation of the degree of gravity of the situation. The question of this research thesis summarizes a working methodology in order to successfully carry out a rehabilitation operation starting with an in-situ investigation and the collection of data according to a described method then passing to the investigation using the tool, in the objective is to define the most damaged areas in order to act punctually and to provide global and final solutions under the compliance of RPA laws and within a framework aimed at the development of the field of rehabilitation
