The public space is frequented by various types of users, their behavior throughout their movements is determined according to their perception, legibility, representation and orientation, and this by using the various signs that compose this public space, guiding, describing and identifying the space traveled, whether they are of mineral or vegetal type. This vegetal, benefits in addition to its positive impact on the environment, a more significant impact in the mental representations and memorizations of the users. Today's city is spreading out and becoming less dense, the distances between services are consequently extended and public spaces are being invaded by mechanical traffic and deprived of their vegetated spaces, leading to visual pollution of the immediate environment. Our main objective in this research is to improve the elements of orientation in the public space by the vegetal element, which will thus allow us to return to a smaller scale: the user’s scale. In order to address this issue, our master's degree will list the key concepts of perception and orientation in public space for the user, but also highlights the dual role of plants in the user's experience in his or her movements, while introducing elements that will help to create this pleasant experience. In addition to a survey, in the form of a questionnaire, in order to know the behavior of a sample of users by analyzing their frequentation and orientation at the metro stations on 1er Mai in the commune of Sidi M'hamed. The results of the study indicate that the components of the signage all have an impact on the perception of each type of user, including vegetation, which promotes attendance and guide users by providing an appreciable visual comfort. Therefore it’s interesting to rethink public spaces around plants and elements that encourage walking
