Restitution de l'état originel de Djnen Mahieddine à Alger

Abstract

The three centuries of Ottoman influence have marked the architecture of Algiers leaving date, a huge remains and a varied architectural heritage. Among the components of this heritage includes the Ottoman era residences called "Djenan" in the countryside outside the walled city "Casbah" which djnen Mahieddine is classified as a historical monument. we propose to do the historical stratification study of djnen Mahieddine highlighting all the transformations it has undergone over time in order to restore its original state during the Ottoman era. This will participate to highlight the characteristics that defines it and which provide an originality and a great value. This acquired knowledge will be useful to the project of its restoration and conservation.
