L'autopromotion comme réponse alternative à la crise de logement en Algérie.

Abstract

The housing policy in Algeria has undergone major changes since the country's independence in 1962. Despite this, Algeria is today facing a double crisis, both quantitatively and qualitatively. Added to this the phenomenon of urban violence, individualism, and identity crisis. Several solutions have emerged to public authorities over the past two decades. Among the most recent, and probably the least known and studied. Co-housing. This comes as a new method that has proven its effectiveness, and that is developing since the 1990s in several countries. This study attempts to examine foreign experience of co-housing, to better understand the models born almost spontaneously in Algeria, and that by the mere initiative of a few people wishing to find an alternative way of housing for better common life. Our research questions the legal framework that has yet to be established to form a solid and regulatory base for the development of co-housing in Algeria.
