Abstract

Algeria's abundant wealth rich heritage and diversity, reflecting more diverse periods. Unfortunately in our days we find this heritage face the test of time, fragmented and tired. It suffers from a lack of maintenance and various clumsy interventions. We also found other factors namely natural hazards. These have various origins among other seismic activity. This last generates significant disturbances on built heritage, and lead to its collapse. The earthquake is one of the main factors that promote the vulnerability of structures and threatening the built heritage, but also there are other diseases that can cause damage on the materials and the structure of the buildings. For this raison the operation of preservation and reinforcement / reinforcement are essential to protect our heritage buildings, in ordre to assured to their superior resistance to what was estimated to their departure. Techniques are multiples strengthening them vary depending on the structures of systems constructive materials, ... etc. Today ; despite the development of technical seismic consolidations that knows science worldwide, culture preservation and consolidation of traditional structures present a challenge for the community by the intervention of a different heritage on the intervention of a new building. The challenge therefore is to consolidate a heritage, taking into account the sensitivity and specificity, without affecting its authenticity and its architectural character. In our study, the application covers the Abdeltif villa in the hills of El Hamma in Algiers, which we are interested in the protection of this villa against seismic hazard plaguing our country. We will propose approaches for building various damaged parts of the villa.
