Abstract

The urban scenery is a cross-disciplinary concept of designating a sensitive interaction position (visual and perceptual) between reality and illusion. This concept in vogue today in several areas rooted in the urban art of ancient Greece and its taste for the picturesque. Historians found in scenography the answer to differences and disrespect of the foundations of Roman architecture namely; symmetry, eurythmy and order. Our study is based primarily on a theoretical support that proposes to clarify and define the art of urban scenography in ancient times and bring out its principles and tools that will allow us further to establish a list of criteria or attribute necessary for our multi-criteria approach. The weightedcriteriaanalysisis the data processingtoolthatwillenable us subsequently, to objectivelyassess the scenographyprinciples, related to the implementation and aestheticstriumphal arches of ancientAlgeria.
