L'éffet de l'enveloppe architecturale sue le confort thermique. Application de RETA sur la résidence Alliance Panorama

Abstract

Recently, Algeria has witnessed a multiple and intense realization of housing projects, which do not seem to apply the regulatory requirements, in terms of thermal comfort. Due to disrespect and ignorance of the thermal regulation during the construction of buildings, the functional and architectural parameters were prioritized at the expense of energy savings. It is in this perspective that our research for the Master degree is centered. We are interested in the thermal comfort in the residence, which can be ensured by the architectural envelope, as well as the parameters of the bioclimatic architecture, which are taken into account during the architectural design. For this purpose, we have focused our interests in this research on the concept of thermal comfort and its regulations, and then on the influence of the envelope’s performance on the latter. To achieve our objectives, we simulated the case of RESIDENCE ALLIANCE PANORAMA using the Algerian thermal regulation RETA to assess the level of thermal comfort in this residence. The results of this simulation demonstrate the project's non-conformity with the Algerian thermal regulations throughout the year. In order to fix this nonconformity, we will present at the end of this research, recommendations to improve the envelope’s thermal isolation of the case study, which was felt through the improvement of the thermal changes of the project.
